Garden Lighting Installation in Dulwich

The problem
A beautiful, mature Dulwich garden that was completely invisible after dark. The clients had invested significantly in the landscaping and planting, but after sunset the space was unused for half the year. They wanted to extend usability into the evening without disrupting the natural feel of the garden.
Work completed
We designed a multi-zone lighting plan — each area of the garden with its own treatment, controlled independently via a smart app. Warm LED uplighters on 6 specimen trees, recessed brass step lights along the main pathway, wall wash lighting on period brick boundaries and ambient seating area lighting.
The result
A garden that now looks as good at 10pm as it does at midday. The uplighting on the mature trees creates dramatic shadows and depth. The step lights make the garden safe to navigate. The smart controls mean the clients can set timers, create scenes and adjust brightness from their phone.
